About Julie
Independent Funeral Celebrant Based in Windsor, Berkshire
My Story
I became a funeral celebrant because I passionately believe that every person deserves a ceremony that truly reflects who they were. Having experienced loss myself, I understand the importance of getting it right.
I take great care to learn about the person whose life is being celebrated. I will meet with you, listen to your stories, and help you find the right words to say goodbye.
My approach is gentle, respectful and inclusive. Whether you want a traditional service, a non-religious ceremony, or something completely unique, I will create something that feels right for your family.
I write the service and, if required, the eulogy too, putting your thoughts and precious memories into words. I will lead the service on the day with warmth and calm professionalism.
What to Expect When We Work Together
Enquiry
You get in touch by phone or email. I will answer any questions and explain how I can help. There is no obligation at this stage.
Meeting
We meet at your home or a place of your choosing. I will listen to your wishes and learn about the person whose life we are honouring.
Draft Service
Drawing on everything shared at our meeting, I write a complete draft service that truly reflects your loved one and the life they lived. You are welcome to review it, suggest changes, and shape it until every word feels right.
The Day Itself
I arrive early, coordinate with the venue, and lead the ceremony with warmth, dignity and composure.
